This piece was created from discarded furniture scrap salvaged in Lancaster County, PA. After sanding, Lichtenberg fractals were burned into the surface of the board using 15,000 volts of electrical current. This piece is not finished, allowing the scent and feel of the wood to remain. 
 
This piece measures approximately 7" x 8" x 1" and is mounted with a sawtooth hanger. A six- inch ruler is included in some of the images for your reference.
