This piece was created from discarded furniture scrap salvaged in Lancaster County, PA. After sanding, Lichtenberg fractals were burned into the surface of the board using 15,000 volts of electrical current. The piece was then painted to augment the natural beauty of the wood and the burns. This piece is finished with several coats of polyurethane and ready to hang on your wall.
This piece measures approximately 13" x 2" x 1" and is mounted with a sawtooth hanger. A six inch ruler is included in some of the images for your reference.
